Holdoff knob
Dual purpose knob used with the HORIZONTAL CONTROL.
As trigger level control, used to set the voltage level the trigger must cross to cause an aquistion
(see #5 and 6 on the DISPLAY AREA).
As a holdoff control, used to set time when next trigger can be accepted
Trigger Menu:
Enter the waveform TRIGGER MENU
Set Level to 50%
Automatically set the level at 50% of the signal level
(like excatly in the middle)

Err... I meant, it sets an acquisition whether or not there is an adequate trigger signal.
(one of those great 'auto' buttons)
